Welcome to the Berkeley Thursday Night Adult chess class!
This is a class for intermediate and beginner players, which, for the purposes of this class, we are defining as follows: You know how the pieces move and a little bit of strategy. The instructor will not be teaching how the pieces move.
This
is great opportunity for you to learn chess fundamentals and tactics,
with
the idea of maybe graduating to playing in adult tournaments. There
will also be a fun rated Tournament as part of the class with Trophies
for the winner!
Teacher is famed BCS alumni Stephen Shaughnessy!
You
can still join after the first night of class, for a pro-rated fee, by
calling 510-843-0150 during the week, between the hours of 10:15-4:45.
