Girls K-12 Calchess NGTOC Qualifier

Face Masks are required during your FIDE game! Hand Sanitizer will be offered.  Covid Vaccinations are strongly encouraged for those 12 and older. No food in the Tournament hall. No Drinks at the chess table.

NO TROPHIES FOR K-12 Qualifier (JUST CASH PRIZES)

K-12 Champ is 5 rounds G/75 with a 5 second increment. Round times: Sat 10am, 1pm, and 4pm Sun 11am, and 2pm awards: 1st: $100 2nd: $50 winner of the K-12 will be the official NGTOC qualifier (Haring) from Northern California. Calchess will also offer a $300 stipend to the NGTOC Representative to help with travel costs.

Official Calchess tie breakers will be used in case of a tie to determine the NGTOC qualifier

ENTRY FEE: $40 if received by 11:59pm on June 7th, 2021. $10 late fee.

Late entry on Saturday is from 9:30-9:45am only. Checks made payable to Berkeley Chess School.($60 entry on site!)

24 Player maximum! Invite only! Invites will be given out by rating, with some age consideration. We are expecting to sell out early. Please email [email protected] if you would like to be considered for an invite.
