The Berkeley Chess School offers intermediate and advanced chess instruction at Grace Presbyterian Church, 2100 Tice Valley Boulevard, Walnut Creek, CA 94595.
Classes are 90 minutes in duration from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Class is followed by an optional rated tournament from 7:00-8:00 p.m. which gives the students an opportunity to gain tournament experience. Since the tournament is rated, all students must have a current USCF membership in order to participate. You can purchase a USCF membership on our website.
We offer a beginner class at this location from 5:30-6:30. Please go to the separate registration page for beginners.
