No class April 4 - Spring break week

The Berkeley Chess School offers Novice, Intermediate and Advanced chess instruction at The Berkeley Chess School, 2622 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley, CA 94702. This is a new location for this program as of March 12, 2020.


For the Novice class, students must begin on the first day of the session (unless they are continuing Novice students), so they don't miss the introductory lesson


Students must be at least five years old, up to 6th grade.

This class is intended to teach the basics of chess to allow new students to prepare for the Intermediate 1 class.
