Once you receive the zoom link, all you have to do is click on it (you don't have to have any Zoom account). The instructor will do an interactive lesson using a digital board. The students and the instructor can see each other through video thumbnails to the right of the screen, so it feels like an in-person class. After a half-hour or so, the instructor will assign each student an opponent, and place them into their own "break-out room" (Zoom's terminology). Here the two students will play a game against each other (I discuss how below). The teacher can visit each break-out room and help/supervise. Also, the students have a button to request help from the teacher.
