The Berkeley Chess School offers intermediate and advanced chess instruction at The Berkeley Adult School building, 1701 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley, 94702.
Classes are 90 minutes in duration from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Class is followed by an optional rated tournament from 7:00-8:00 p.m. which gives the students an opportunity to gain tournament experience. Since the tournament is rated, all students must have a current USCF membership in order to participate. We will be offering a beginner chess class at our Berkeley location only. There is a separate registration page for this class. Please go to the main Friday Night Chess page and click the beginner class link for all of the information and to register.
