Description

All girls camp is available for one week only- June 18th-22nd.

Calling all Queens! This action packed female led girls only camp, coached by Fernanda Pereira, will focus on the weakest squares on the board with a deep analysis on traps that utilize the f2 and f7 squares. Girls will develop & perfect traps such as fools mate, scholars mate, legals mate and more. Camp will consist of puzzles, challenges on the board and fun activities. Fernanda will also cover important endgame fundamentals.
 

This engaging camp encourages girls to become stronger players, develop skills faster and builds friendships- all while having fun!

Berkeley Chess offers a full & 1/2 day registration option. Our morning program from 9:00am-1:00pm is relaxed, playful and includes casual chess, other board games and playground games. The intensive chess program for girls is from 1:00 to 5:00 and includes instruction, supervised play and outdoor recess. Early drop off begins at 8am and late pickup extends to 5:30pm. Students bring their own snacks and lunch.
