Classes are held at The Berkeley Adult School, 1701 San Pablo Avenue, Berkeley, 94702. *Please
note that the front of the school will be locked. You will have to go 
around to the back of the building and enter through the parking lot off
of Curtis Street.

For the beginner class, students must begin on the first day of the session. No one can join after January 11 for the Winter 2019 session (unless they took a previous Friday Night Beginner class).


Students must be at least five years old, up to 6th grade.

This class is intended to teach the basics of chess to allow new students to prepare for the Intermediate 1 class.
