The Berkeley Chess School is very happy to offer Friday Night chess class and tournament at Mountain House!
If you are joining after the first class has already taken place, you can call our office and pay a pro-rated fee at 510-843-0150.
This class includes beginners and more advanced students. There are two levels. Younger children and beginners are accepted provisionally to make sure the class is a good fit.
The class is from 5:30-7:00 with one round of a rated tournament between 7:00 and 8:00. (All players in the rated tournament must join the US Chess Federation in order to play. To join, please go to

***If your child is NOT playing in the rated tournament, and you don't have or need a USCF membership number, you can put in any number, such as 123456 to register for the class.***
Participants must currently be in grades 1 to 12.
Minimum: 1
Registration starts on 01/09/2020 and ends on 02/14/2020.
